Research Area
I’m Ramaswamy MURUGAN working as a Professor of Physics, from September 2010. Earlier, I worked as Director (UPSC), DSTE, Govt. of Puducherry and Associate professor in PEC, Puducherry. Our research focuses on design and fabrication of lithium metal batteries. I was privileged to work with Prof. John B Goodenough (Nobel laureate) and Prof. Weppner in developing high energy density batteries. Collaborating with Corning Inc USA, Fisker Inc USA and Applied Materials USA through sponsored research/consultancy projects. Serving as member in Editorial Board of “Ionics” and Co-Editor of “Current Smart Materials”. Honored as FRSC, FASCh., MACS and Research Award by UGC.
